Mark Vaughan, M.D.

Doctor Vaughan has been practicing in Placer County since 1999. He started immediately upon his returning to Auburn, California, after completing a three year residency in Emergency Medicine at Truman Medical Center through the University of Missouri, Kansas City.  He is the founder of the Auburn Medical Group and serves as the Medical Director.

Doctor Vaughan lives in Auburn with his wife and family, where they are actively involved in their church. He enjoys bicycling, traveling with his family, and Airsoft.

It is Doctor Vaughan's desire that Medically Speaking will empower his patients and other Placer County residents to understand and optimize their personal health.

Larry Finney

Larry is a life-long resident of Auburn.  He was born at Highland General Hospital, attended Alta Vista Elementary, EV Cain Jr. High, and graduated from Placer High School.  After attending Sierra College, he graduated from CSU, Sacramento.  He is a certified public accountant, and is employed by the State of California.

He and his wife, Jennifer, have four children (also Auburn natives) who are all Placer High grads. Much of his free time is spent serving in his church and mentoring youth. His knowledge of music and movie trivia is unrivaled.
